We are delighted to announce that that Emplifi, the world’s leading unified customer experience platform, has acquired Go Instore.

Go Instore’s journey as the world’s leading platform for video-powered retail started seven years ago. Two retail-technology veterans and long-term friends, Aman Khurana and Andre Hordagoda, decided to join forces after noticing a gap in conversion rates between the online/offline world of retail.

Bridging this gap, they bought revolutionary technology to the market, implementing an immersive HD live-streaming solution. Go Instore has grown from strength to strength in the last seven years, developing state-of-the-art features and expanding from a small team of fifteen to over fifty.  Go Instore has transformed the eCommerce world, and now, as part of Emplifi, will continue to innovate in its field and contribute to Emplifi’s record of unrivalled customer experience.

Emplifi is the leading unified customer experience platform that brings marketing, commerce and care together. Emplifi is trusted by the worlds best- accumulating 7,000 esteemed brands including Delta Airlines, MacDonalds and Ford Motor Company. Emplifi as a brand was born this year, after the Audax PE-backed Astute Solutions acquired Socialbakers. Emplifi’s vision is to aid brands in optimising the experience of every interaction, conversation and moment they spend with their customers. The addition of Go Instore to Emplifi will expand Emplifi’s social commerce cloud strategy and help accelerate Go Instore’s feature packed roadmap.

Mark Zablan, CEO of Emplifi said “We are thrilled to welcome Go Instore into the Emplifi family with their outstanding people, platform, culture and fantastic customers. This acquisition marks another important milestone on our journey towards being the CX platform of choice for brands who want to give their customers great experiences at every touchpoint on their journey.” Aman Khurana, our co-CEO at Go Instore, added “Emplifi’s vision, innovation, and speed-to-market align perfectly with Go Instore. Together we will accelerate retail transformation with social commerce.”

“We are incredibly excited to join forces with Emplifi to deliver even more powerful shopping experiences across our client’s websites and social channels,” said André Hordagoda, Co-Founder, Go Instore. “Emplifi’s vision, innovation, and speed-to-market align perfectly with Go Instore. Together we will accelerate retail transformation with social commerce.” added Aman Khurana, Co-Founder, Go Instore.

With the addition of live commerce technology, Emplifi continues its fast-paced go-to-market strategy. Coming off the recent rebranding and fusion of Astute Solutions and Socialbakers companies, Emplifi’s acquisition of Go Instore helps strengthen its position as a CX leader and provides brands with an end-to-end platform for social marketing, social commerce and omnichannel service and care.

We can’t wait to get started.

#GoInstore #LetsGo

“By partnering with Go Instore, we’re able to deliver the same level of expert advice and guidance regardless of how customers interact with us. We couldn’t be prouder of our store colleagues, so this a perfect solution to continue driving our pet care experience forwards. Go Instore's live video solution has helped Pets at Home deliver for our customers when and where they need it the most. As a pet care business that offers a wide variety of services and product solutions, we want to create a joined-up pet care experience so that our customers know they will receive the same great level of service however they choose to shop with us.”

“90% of customers want to sit on a sofa before they purchase it. This isn’t always possible due to the often remote locations of our stores. Go Instore’s one-to-one solution has enabled our customers to trust the sales expert on the other side of the line to test out the sofa for them before completing their purchase. Our Sofologists are able to create an instant connection with customers and remove any friction from the buying journey.”

“Cycle Show, one of our biggest marketing exhibitions, was cancelled due to the pandemic – so we decided to take it online with Go Instore. The reach exceeded what we would expect to see at the in-person show with tens of thousands, possibly even hundreds of thousands, tuning in. ShopStream is the best way of leveraging our top of the range showroom and committed store staff to build a true omnichannel business that millions of customers around the world can enjoy.”

“Our M&S Video Expert service helps us to offer our customers flexible, easy and rewarding shopping experiences whether they choose to shop online, in-store, or both. We are building a shopping experience that’s fit for the future as our colleagues offer the same renowned experience expected in-store, to online customers, having started on Furniture, we have expanded to menswear and will launched on Lingerie in September 2021.”
